YARD SERVICE/EQUIPMENT HAULER
The Yard Service/Equipment Hauler position with K&T Irrigation carries a variety of opportunities and responsibilities in the irrigation industry. This position contributes to the success of K&T Irrigation's day-to-day operations while also assisting the Field Service Team and Parts Manager. This position is also dedicated to safety, quality and efficiency.
Some Candidate Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
- Yard projects and organization
- Assist with yard and parking lot maintenance
- Assist with general labor when needed
- Unloading incoming parts and products
- Loading and unloading irrigation structure and components
- Assisting with general maintenance of company assets such as vehicles, equipment and buildings
- Hauling irrigation products and heavy equipment to job sites
- Hauling grain project equipment and product deliveries
Candidates must be eager to learn and actively seek to master the projects they are assigned to.
The Estimated Position Breakdown Is:
- 50% Yard/Shop Work
- 25% Trucking/Traveling
- 25% Field Work
Education & Work Experience:
- Operating heavy equipment
- Ability to follow instruction, meet expectations and work long hours outside
- Working in a team environment
- Irrigation and grain bin site experience not necessary
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must have a valid Class A CDL (With Air Brake)
- Must be able to work overtime during peak season
- Must be willing to overnight if out of town traveling
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
- Must be able to perform direct physical effort
