FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN
The Field Service Tech position is critical to K&T Irrigation's day-to-day operations. K&T Irrigation Field Service Tech's cover a large area and will be working through both our West Fargo ND location and our Carrington ND location. We encourage applicants from these area's to apply.
Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
- Commissioning new and used irrigation systems
- Service calls for electrical, mechanical and structural irrigation issues
- Working with water pumps, telemetry software and other irrigation components
Another large part of the Field Service Tech position will be working within our grain division with the installation and service of grain dryer and conveyance systems
Field Service Tech's will be dedicated to safety, quality and efficiency
Education & Work Experience:
- Agricultural, irrigation and grain site experience is rewarded
- Understanding basic electrical theory is rewarded
- Working with a team or independently
- The ability to follow instructions, meet expectations, and work long hours outdoors
- Willingness to learn new skills, take on new responsibilities and master projects assigned
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must be an insurable driver
- Must have a strong mechanical background
- Must be able to perform direct physical effort
- Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather
- Must be able to work overtime during peak season
- Must be willing to overnight when traveling out of town
