Responsibilities
- Assist with manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting and moving materials safely across the production floor
- Operate forklifts and power tools to transport raw materials, components, and finished products efficiently
- Use measuring instruments and interpret technical drawings to ensure precise assembly and quality standards are met
- Support assembly line operations by assembling parts using hand tools and mechanical knowledge
- Follow safety protocols rigorously to maintain a safe working environment for all team members
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and reduce waste
- Maintain accurate documentation related to production activities and adhere to manufacturing management procedures
Qualifications
- Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience with familiarity in assembly line processes
- Valid forklift certification and experience operating forklifts safely in a warehouse or factory setting
- Strong mechanical knowledge coupled with experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, production documents, and technical specifications
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and safety standards in production environments
- Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting, manual handling, and physical tasks consistently
- Excellent understanding of safety protocol adherence and process compliance in manufacturing settings
