Essential Functions:
- Discuss requirements with the client and other professional
- Analyze survey, mapping and materials-testing data with computer modeling software
- Draw up plans, using CAD packages, primarily Civil 3D
- Consider construction costs, government regulations, potential environmental hazards, and other factors in planning stages and risk analysis.
- Make judgments whether projects are workable by assessing materials, costs and time requirements
- Assess the environmental impact and risks connected to project
- Prepare bid documents for clients
- Manage, direct and monitor progress during each phase of a project
- Ensure sites meet legal guidelines, and health and safety requirements.
- Present findings to the public on topics such as bid proposals, environmental impact statements, or property description
- Manage the repair, maintenance, and replacement of public and private infrastructure.

Job Specifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Current Wisconsin Engineer credential or ability to obtain within 2 years
- 2 – 10 years experience working in the Civil Engineering industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills are beneficial
- Proficient in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, StormCAD, HydroCAD, WinSLAMM
- Proficient with Microsoft Office O365, Adobe Acrobat, Blue Beam
