You’ll play a critical role in investigating quality complaints and driving corrective actions that make a real impact on our global reputation.
What You’ll Do (Essential Duties)
- Guardian of Quality: Perform rigorous quality inspections on customer parts, machinery, and warranty evaluations.
- The Auditor's Eye: Conduct daily audits of inbound receipts and outbound shipments to guarantee 100% accuracy.
- Data Driven: Develop and maintain metrics to track progress toward "zero-error" shipping goals.
- Problem Solver: Collect failure data, process non-conformance reports, and work closely with the Quality Manager to initiate improvements.
- Collaborative Leader: Provide direct feedback to warehouse leads on pulling or packaging errors to help the team grow and improve.
- Versatility: Assist with reboxing projects and support other warehouse departments (Warehouse 1 & 3) as needed.
- Experience: At least 2 years of warehouse experience is required; quality or inspection experience is highly preferred.
- Tech-Savvy: Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer operations.
- Certified: Must have a forklift certification or the ability to achieve one quickly.
- Communicator: Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly, with the confidence to present information to small groups or clients.
- Math & Logic: Comfortable with fractions, percentages, and decimals, as well as solving practical problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Strength: Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Agility: Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, and climb.
- The Setting: A dynamic warehouse environment where noise levels are consistent with forklift traffic and temperatures can fluctuate with the seasons.
