Electrical and Instrumentation Technician

• 
  Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical equipment

• 
  Perform calibration, testing, and repair of industrial instrumentation (pressure, flow, temperature, analyzers, etc.).

• 
  Inspect, maintain, and repair control systems, PLCs, VFDs, and motor control centers.

• 
  Read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, P&IDs, and technical documentation.

• 
  Perform preventative maintenance and respond to equipment failures.

• 
  Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company procedures.

• 
  Test, inspect, calibrate, install, troubleshoot and repair analog and digital instrumentation and monitoring devices such as level indicators, flow meters, scales, viscometers, densimeters, pressure transducers, thermocouples and motion control equipment

• Document all maintenance activities accurately and on time.

• 
  Collaborate with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to support production needs.

Requirements

• Two year technical degree in electronics, instrumentation, industrial controls or robotics OR 5 years experience with such.
  
• Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays depending on production requirements
  
• Must be able to travel
  
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems, including low/medium voltage circuits.
  
• Ability to work from ladders, lifts and in various industrial environments
  
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with internal and external technical resources
  
• Must pass drug, background and MVR
