What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical and Instrumentation Technician position at K&R Staffing HR Consulting LLC?
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical equipment
Perform calibration, testing, and repair of industrial instrumentation (pressure, flow, temperature, analyzers, etc.).
Inspect, maintain, and repair control systems, PLCs, VFDs, and motor control centers.
Read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, P&IDs, and technical documentation.
Perform preventative maintenance and respond to equipment failures.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company procedures.
Test, inspect, calibrate, install, troubleshoot and repair analog and digital instrumentation and monitoring devices such as level indicators, flow meters, scales, viscometers, densimeters, pressure transducers, thermocouples and motion control equipmentDocument all maintenance activities accurately and on time.
Collaborate with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to support production needs.
Requirements

Two year technical degree in electronics, instrumentation, industrial controls or robotics OR 5 years experience with such.

Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays depending on production requirements

Must be able to travel

Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems, including low/medium voltage circuits.

Ability to work from ladders, lifts and in various industrial environments

Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with internal and external technical resources
- Must pass drug, background and MVR
