Duties
- Engage in proactive outside sales efforts to identify and pursue new business opportunities within designated territories.
- Manage a portfolio of clients through effective account management strategies, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct comprehensive product demos and presentations to showcase construction materials, equipment, or services tailored to client needs.
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to increase market share and generate leads through cold calling, networking events, and industry outreach.
- Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress for accurate forecasting.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to close deals that align with company objectives while delivering value.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and territory analysis to inform ongoing sales strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales or B2B sales within the construction or related industries; experience in technical or technology sales is a plus.
- Strong management skills with the ability to handle multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining high levels of customer service.
- Demonstrated success in business development, lead generation, cold calling, and territory management.
- Excellent negotiation skills paired with effective communication abilities for product demos and client interactions.
