Server/Busser/Host

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Host/Server to join our dynamic team in a fine dining environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. This role requires a blend of hospitality skills, including food service knowledge, effective communication, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests promptly while ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the OpenTable system.
• Provide menu recommendations and upsell items to enhance the dining experience.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets our high standards.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest needs.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tips.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Knowledge of fine dining etiquette and standards is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Experience using reservation systems like OpenTable is advantageous but not mandatory.
• A team-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.

Pay: $14.28 - $15.87 per hour
