The Opportunity
This is not a traditional production role, and it's not strictly a sales position. We're looking for someone who can become a trusted extension of ownership and serve as the connection between our customers, sales team, and bench jewelers.
You'll help guide custom projects and repairs from initial consultation through final delivery while keeping communication, workflow, and customer experience running smoothly. This role combines jewelry knowledge, client service, organization, and a strong sense of ownership, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to play a meaningful role in the future growth of the business.
What You'll Do
Production & Workflow
- Coordinate repair and custom jewelry projects from intake through completion
- Partner closely with bench jewelers to ensure projects are prepared, prioritized, and executed efficiently
- Order, source, and organize materials, findings, and components
- Maintain accurate job tracking and production records
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow, efficiency, and organization
- Help ensure projects remain on schedule and customer expectations are exceeded
Client Experience
- Guide customers through repair and custom jewelry consultations
- Assist clients with redesigning heirloom and existing jewelry
- Provide expert recommendations and creative solutions
- Serve as a trusted point of contact throughout the customer journey
- Deliver an exceptional client experience that builds loyalty and trust
Collaboration & Accountability
- Act as the bridge between the front and back of the business
- Support ownership with day-to-day operational needs
- Foster collaboration and communication across the team
- Help create systems and processes that support continued growth
- Contribute ideas and initiatives that strengthen the business
- Take ownership of projects and follow through on commitments
What We're Looking For
- Three or more years of jewelry industry experience
- Experience working with repairs, custom jewelry, production coordination, or bench operations
- Strong understanding of jewelry construction, components, and repair processes
- Past experience working with bench jewelers is highly valued
- GIA education or certifications are welcomed but not required
- A genuine passion for jewelry and craftsmanship
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- A proactive mindset with a strong sense of accountability
- A desire to make a lasting impact within a growing business
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary of $50,000–$75,000 based on experience
- $1,000 annual healthcare stipend
- Retirement plan with 3% company match
- Paid holidays
- Five personal days and five vacation days during your first year
- Ten vacation days after your first year
- Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate
Schedule
- Full-time position
- Two Saturdays per month required - Sat. hours 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- General store hours are 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Closed Sundays and Mondays, except during holiday seasons
