Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Supervisor on second shift to lead maintenance operations and facility support within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for supervising maintenance technicians, ensuring equipment reliability, maintaining OSHA and fire code compliance, supporting facility infrastructure, and driving operational uptime.
The ideal candidate brings strong electrical and automation expertise, proven leadership experience, and the ability to manage maintenance execution while maintaining safety, compliance, and audit readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Execution
- Supervise and assign daily maintenance activities
- Prioritize corrective, preventive, and emergency repairs
- Coach and develop maintenance technicians
- Provide clear shift communication and operational updates
Maintenance & Technical Oversight
- Oversee troubleshooting and repair of production equipment
- Support electrical systems, PLCs, conveyors, pneumatics, and hydraulics
- Lead preventive maintenance program improvements
- Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance documentation (CMMS/MaintainX)
- Read and interpret engineering prints and electrical schematics
Facilities & Compliance
- Coordinate facility maintenance (HVAC, plumbing, lighting, building systems)
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, building codes, and fire safety standards
- Enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
- Support audits, inspections, and corrective actions
- Maintain fire safety systems and regulatory readiness
Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Support capital equipment installations and facility upgrades
- Coordinate contractors and maintenance-related projects
- Identify root causes and implement reliability improvements
Qualifications
- 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
- 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Advanced electrical knowledge required
- Strong experience with PLCs, automated systems, conveyors, pneumatics, and hydraulics
- Knowledge of OSHA, fire codes, and manufacturing facility compliance
- Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Work Environment and Schedule
- This is an onsite position located in Grand Prairie, TX; you must have reliable, daily transportation to and from our facility
- We work a 4/10 schedule (Mon-Thurs); second shift work hours are 2:00pm-12:30am
- Our work environment contains machinery and may cause exposure to dust
- Our work environment is not temperature controlled so you must be able to work in higher temperatures in the summer months

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
