Position Summary
The Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the New and/or Used Vehicle Sales Department, ensuring the team consistently meets and exceeds sales and profitability goals while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, hire, train, and motivate sales staff
- Monitor and evaluate salesperson performance and productivity
- Set and track monthly and annual sales, gross profit, and expense objectives
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and campaigns
- Manage vehicle inventory, including ordering and merchandising
- Oversee and administer manufacturer programs and initiatives
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and sales data to drive performance
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure operational efficiency
- Maintain compliance with company policies and professional standards
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance documentation
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of automotive sales experience, with management experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (minimum 3 years driving experience)
