In this vital role, you’ll be the friendly face picking up parts from our vendors and delivering to our technicians while efficiently managing inventory in our warehouse. Duties
- Safely operate our company vehicle to pick up parts and customers, adhering to route schedules and traffic laws
- Load and unload parts using forklifts, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate inventory records by receiving shipments, updating stock levels, and organizing parts in the parts room
- Communicate effectively with our vendors to ensure the proper parts are picked up.
- Follow safety procedures for heavy lifting, moving items, and operating equipment such as forklifts.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or inventory management is preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for 5 years or more
- Ability to communicate professionally and courteously
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or load/unload procedures is advantageous
- Prior route driving or delivery driver experience is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently with excellent time management skills in a fast-paced environment
