Shipping Clerk

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Clerk to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining smooth warehouse distribution processes. The Shipping Clerk plays a vital role in supporting e-commerce and warehouse distribution functions, contributing to overall operational success.

Duties

• Prepare and process outgoing shipments using appropriate packaging materials and methods
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to load, unload, and move inventory safely
• Manage order picking and packing to ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 for inventory tracking, order processing, and stock management
• Conduct stock replenishment and stocking activities to maintain optimal inventory levels
• Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock adjustments using basic math skills
• Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and compliance with shipping & receiving procedures
• Support order fulfillment processes for e-commerce platforms by picking & packing orders efficiently
• Load & unload trucks safely while adhering to safety protocols
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency

Experience

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for all necessary equipment and systems
• Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes, shipping & receiving operations, and order fulfillment is advantageous
• Basic math skills are necessary for inventory counts and order calculations
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are essential for success in this role

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
