Role Description The CNC Programmer is a full-time, on-site role based in Salisbury, MD. This role is responsible for creating, modifying, and optimizing CNC programs to produce precision RF components, working closely with machinists and engineers to ensure parts meet design specifications and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting technical drawings and blueprints, selecting appropriate tooling and machining strategies, setting up and proving out new programs on CNC milling and machining centers, and troubleshooting programming or machining issues. The CNC Programmer will monitor production runs, adjust programs for efficiency and accuracy, maintain documentation of programs and setup sheets, and collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to improve processes and reduce cycle times. The role also includes adherence to safety procedures, participation in continuous improvement activities, and support of preventive maintenance efforts on CNC equipment.
Qualifications

  • Strong skills in CNC Programming and Programming for milling and machining operations.
  • Proficiency in Machining and Milling processes, including tooling selection and setup.
  • Ability to read and interpret Technical Drawings and engineering blueprints.
  • Experience with CNC controllers and CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar).
  • Attention to detail with a focus on dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and quality standards.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve machining and programming issues on the shop floor.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with engineers, quality, and production teams.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to manufacturing procedures and policies.
  • Relevant technical education or apprenticeship in machining, manufacturing technology, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • Previous experience in a precision manufacturing or RF/electronics-related environment is beneficial.
