· Deep expertise in Azure data services (Databricks, ADLS, ADF, Event Hub/Service Bus).
· Strong architectural background in Hadoop/Cloudera ecosystems (HDFS, Spark, Hive/Impala, Ranger/Sentry).
· Hybrid connectivity design including ExpressRoute/VPN, networking, and security hardening.
· Experience with identity, RBAC, secrets/keys, and Zero-Trust principles.
· Knowledge of data governance frameworks (Purview), DQ, lineage, schema evolution.
· Skilled in designing scalable and distributed batch/streaming architectures.
· FinOps practices for compute/storage cost optimization.
· Ability to create reference architectures, standards, and blueprint documentation.
Functional Skills
· Ability to mentor engineering teams and lead design reviews.
· Strong collaboration skills with PMs, compliance, business, and engineering stakeholders.
· Ability to define roadmaps, migration strategies, and hybrid modernization blueprints.
· Strong communication and presentation skills for leadership alignment.
Roles & Responsibilities
· Define and own the end-to-end architecture of hybrid big-data platforms.
· Establish security models, integration patterns, and governance standards.
· Review engineering designs and ensure alignment with architectural guidelines.
· Collaborate with PMs and business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet regulatory and business goals.
· Drive modernization strategy, migration planning, and stepwise platform evolution.
· Oversee performance, reliability, DR strategy, and cost-optimized cloud adoption.

Salary : $100,000 - $135,000
