Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- 8-10 years Google Google Cloud Platform Bigquery Experience with good Python Skills. Experience in Atscale or similar Cubes and have experience on Dimensional Modelling or Designing Snowflake Schemas.
- Strong hands-on experience in Python and AtScale or similar cubes.
Roles & Responsibilities
Core Data Engineering:
- Strong proficiency in SQL (advanced query optimization, complex joins, window functions, large-scale data processing)
- Hands-on experience with Python for data processing, automation, and pipeline development.
- Deep experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines in modern cloud environments (preferably Google Cloud Platform / BigQuery)
- Experience with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Cloud Composer) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins)
- Strong understanding of data quality, data validation, and production support practices
Universal Semantic Layer
- Configure and support USL with existing Mydrill and Finance Metrices.
- Build and maintain planning models, dimensions, metadata, and security in alignment with finance requirements.
- Develop and support business rules / calculation scripts, web input forms, and planning dashboards.
- Assist in performance tuning and optimization of planning calculations. Testing, UAT & Documentation
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including test execution, defect tracking, and validation of fixes.
- Prepare and maintain functional documentation, configuration details, and user guides.
- Assist with user training and knowledge transfer activities to ensure operational readiness.
