National Manager Strategic Purchasing

We are looking for an experienced candidate to fill the role of National Manager of Strategic Purchasing for a National Homebuilder.  This role will manage the specific high spend house cost nationally.

Responsibilities will include:

• Perform moderately complex system data analysis, identify areas of improvement and produce reports and presentations and recommend alternatives to reduce cost or increase efficiency in a process area. 
• Collaboration with financial reporting and IT teams to develop/improve reports in order to identify cost disparities within and between Divisions. Position will focus on summarizing and communicating cost-saving opportunities to NSP Team and/or across all Division Purchasing Departments. 
• Work with cross-functional teams and have a collaborative mindset. Must excel within a team setting with willingness to consider differing points of view and proposed directions. 
• Develop and monitor data quality metrics and ensure business data and reporting needs are met.

Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Studies, Management or Information Technology from four-year college or university and minimum of 4 years related experience.

Advanced Excel skills, Enterprise One, Sales 1440, PowerPoint, Insight, SQL &CRM.

Additional knowledge and experience:

1. Experience working with senior decision makers. 
2. Thorough familiarity with top-down structured system analysis techniques. 
3. Thorough understanding of database design principles and report creation. 
4. Ability to create presentations and present materials to others. 
5. Analytical, detail oriented, accuracy, and organization skills.
