Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests, presenting menus and providing information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, ensuring all requests are noted.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner, checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service and address any issues that may arise.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to resolve any issues effectively.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to provide informed recommendations.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a clean and safe dining environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
