Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a warm and professional first impression as a hostess or waitress
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair
- Develop beverage recipes and assist in creating new drink menus to enhance guest experience
- Manage cash transactions accurately, process payments, and handle cash register operations with integrity
- Maintain knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service
- Assist in bar management tasks during shifts, including stock replenishment and cleanliness upkeep
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring satisfaction
- Support event service such as banquets or catering functions when needed to ensure seamless operations
Skills
- Extensive experience in food service, bartending, or hospitality industry roles with a focus on fine dining or nightlife environments
- Strong knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, cocktail recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage development
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced settings such as nightclubs or banquet events
- Demonstrated customer service excellence with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding for sales transactions and inventory management
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety
- Experience with restaurant operations including serving, bar management, catering support, or retail math calculations
