Job Overview
K-Construction is hiring a skilled Remodeler / Small Job Specialist to handle small to mid-size residential projects. This role focuses on finish work, repairs, and detail-driven installations.
You’ll be working directly in clients’ homes, so quality workmanship, professionalism, and clear communication are critical. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of their work, and can run smaller projects independently.
Responsibilities
- Complete small remodel projects (bathrooms, kitchens, accent walls, upgrades)
- Perform general home repairs (drywall patches, door adjustments, fixture replacements, minor framing)
- Install trim carpentry (baseboards, crown molding, casing, built-ins)
- Install tile (floors, showers, backsplashes) including proper prep and layout
- Maintain clean, organized job sites—especially in occupied homes
- Keep projects on schedule while maintaining K-Construction quality standards
- Communicate clearly with homeowners on progress and expectations
- Troubleshoot and solve issues independently on site
Qualifications
- Experience in residential remodeling, finish carpentry, or general repairs
- Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
- Ability to manage and complete small projects independently
- Professional communication and customer-service mindset
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
