The ideal Flooring Installer will have a strong work ethic, an eye for detail and a desire to make every floor they install an absolute work of art. Previous experience in the floor covering industry is necessary. You must be able to follow instructions, pay attention to detail and possess an extremely high level of artisanship. Experience in tile work and epoxy coating is a plus. Hourly pay rate is based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Endure the heat of the summer and the cold of the winter.
- Have good knees, legs, and back.
- Have strong upper body strength.
- Be able to lift several hundred pounds.
- Stand or kneel for most of your shift.
- Have good hand-eye coordination.
- Deal with customers who are dissatisfied with your work.
- Read floor plans to determine installation methods.
- Communicate your plans to the rest of the crew.
- Calculate correct amounts of supplies needed for each job.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
