What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatcher position at K A D E MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION LLC?
The Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) dispatcher is responsible for coordinating transportation services for clients who are unable to drive themselves to medical appointments or treatments.
1. Receiving and processing requests for transportation services from healthcare facilities, clients, and caregivers.
2. Scheduling transportation services for clients, ensuring that vehicles and drivers are available to meet the needs of patients.
3. Communicating with clients, healthcare providers, and transportation providers to ensure that everyone is aware of the schedule and any changes that may occur.
4. Maintaining accurate records of all transportation requests, including client information, pick-up and drop-off times, and billing information.
5. Coordinating with transportation providers to ensure that all vehicles are properly maintained and meet safety standards.
6. Monitoring the performance of transportation providers to ensure that they meet service level agreements and quality standards.
7. Resolving any issues or complaints related to transportation services, including scheduling conflicts, driver behavior, and billing disputes.
8. Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to transportation services.
NEMT dispatchers often work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to multitask, communicate effectively, and manage their time efficiently. They must be able to communicate effectively with healthcare providers and patients.
Additionally, the candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work well under pressure.
