Our growing Agency, Jzanus Home Care, Inc. located in Holbrook, Suffolk County, is seeking to hire a bilingual, Spanish speaking Staffing Coordinator who has at least one year of experience in Home Care Coordination. Successful candidate must be enthusiastic, energetic and totally motivated.
This position calls for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Coordination Department. The individual will contribute to the accomplishment of Company coordination practices and objectives, as well as help with the implementation of services.
Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Act as a liaison between patient and staff, including relaying messages to the Caregivers
- Assist Caregivers with the needs pertaining to the care of patients
- Manage daily adherence to schedules by Caregivers
- Maintain timesheets and prepare scheduling, while ensuring that the Caregiver clocks in and out using the HHA Exchange System
- Assure compliance to care plans
- Ensure that all patient and Caregiver information is accurate in the data base
- Answer all calls from the patients, including problems and concerns, together with providing the appropriate resolution
- Be willing to take on responsibilities of covering On-Call during non-business hours
- Obtain Authorizations from multiple MLTC's and Insurance Carriers
Skills:
- Knowledge of and experience with HHA Exchange
- Experience with customer service in high-stress situations with the ability to handle client and employee issues in a calm and empathetic manner
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- A creative problem solver who can think critically and outside of the box as needed
- Possess excellent organizational skills and able to successfully multitask
- Pleasant and polished phone manner and demeanor.
Fluent Spanish required.
Salary commensurate with experience.
