CMM Programmer/Operator/Quality Inspector

JWP Manufacturing is now taking applications for Quality Inspectors / CMM Operators at its Rancho Cordova campus.

JWP is an ISO 13485:2016 and AS9100D certified manufacture of Medical Device, Aerospace, and Defense components.

The candidate will be performing a variety of Inspections Department duties.

Job duties include:

· Performing In-Process, Receiving, Special Process, First Article, and Final Inspections of precision machined components and assemblies.

· Electronically document In-process, Final, and Receiving Inspections.

· Perform First Article Inspection using AS9102 format.

· Creating Non-Conformance reports.

· Operating Coordinate Measuring Machine.

· Communicate inspection results to the Manufacturing and Inspection personnel.

Requirements

· Proficient at using measuring tools such as (not limited to) optical comparators, microscopes, surface roughness testers, calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.

· Knowledgeable in Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing.

· Zeiss Calypso CMM programming or operations experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided to the right candidate.

· Have the ability to work without supervision.

· Able to adjust to priority changes within a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent communication skills, both verbally and electronically.

· Reliable, with own transportation and a current California Driver’s License.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: Based on experience and skills.

Hours: Hours are negotiable. One to two Saturdays a month, depending on workload.
