THIS POSITION IS FOR A MORNING SHIFT.
Major Responsibilities: Inspect the Incoming, In-Process and Final Inspection of all materials & parts Received, Manufactured and ready to ship in accordance with vendor Drawings, and Specifications. Spot check inspections of dimensional measurements and visual flaws.
Typical Duties:
- Inspection of Received, In-Process or Ready to Ship parts.
- Random In-Process Inspections
- Generate Material & Inspection Reports as required.
- Repackaging and/or Shipping of Parts as required.
Equipment used:
- Digital Drop Gage
- Micrometers
- Calipers
- Pin Gages
- Other Inspection Tools as needed
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of ANSI Dimensioning & Tolerances
- Knowledge of ASTM Standards
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Minimum 5 years Part Print Inspection experience
- CNC Machining: 5 years
- Good manual dexterity/Hand Eye Coordination
- Must be able to interpret drawings and dimensions
- Work with minimal supervision
- Machine G-Code knowledge
- Able to edit Machine Functions and/or G-code to achieve Nominal Dimensions.
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to remain stationary (standing) for long periods of time and use hands to handle objects, delicate instruments and parts that vary in length and weight.
- May occasionally be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment:
- Fast paced job shop.
Work shift starts at:
- 6:00 AM
Work shift ends at :
- 2:30 PM
