Private Wealth Management and Portfolio Management: Portfolio Manager

JWM Wealth Management LLC is seeking a Portfolio Manager that develops and implements investment strategies, constructs and manages portfolios using quantitative and fundamental analysis, monitors performance, and collaborates with client advisors and other internal team members to meet diverse client goals. Key responsibilities include strategic asset allocation, portfolio construction, performance attribution, manager research, and handling complex client requests in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. 

Key Responsibilities

• Investment Strategy & Construction: Develop and execute investment strategies, focusing on strategic asset allocation, portfolio construction, and asset-liability matching for various client types.
• Portfolio Management: Manage daily portfolio activity, including rebalancing, trading, and ensuring adherence to mandates and constraints (like side letter terms or tax rules).
• Research & Analysis: Conduct corporate modeling for projections and liquidity, analyze industry trends, and perform ad-hoc strategic analyses.
• Client & Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with client portfolio managers, sales, operations, and compliance teams to deliver investment solutions and client experience.
• Reporting & Presentations: Prepare and present strategic analysis, performance data, and market outlooks to senior management and clients.
• Product Development: Contribute to the development of new investment strategies and digital tools, leveraging technology for scale and customization. 

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Quantitative & Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative and analytical abilities, with a solid understanding of portfolio investment metrics.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with proven experience presenting to internal and external stakeholders.
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and bespoke presentations.
• Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of portfolio investment characteristics, investment research, and potentially specific areas like fixed income or insurance regulation.
• Work Ethic & Mindset: A self-starter, detail-oriented, able to work independently and in a team, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Education: A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a quantitative field like Mathematics, Economics, or Finance.
• Experience: Typically requires several years of relevant investment experience. A CFA designation or candidacy is often a plus.

Salary is based on experience: Range is $125,000 - $200,000 plus bonus
