Duties
- Operate grapple trucks, boom trucks, cranes, excavators, backhoes, and forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials across various job sites.
- Perform rigging tasks to secure loads properly for safe lifting and movement.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment before use to ensure safety and operational readiness.
- Coordinate with team members to plan lifting operations and execute tasks efficiently.
- Assist with warehouse activities such as shipping & receiving, inventory management, and materials handling.
- Follow all safety protocols and construction site regulations to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment including cranes, boom trucks, forklifts, excavators, backhoes, and grapple trucks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of construction machinery and rigging techniques.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform rigging tasks accurately and safely under supervision.
- Prior construction site experience is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of materials handling procedures within warehouse or shipping environments.
- Pass a drug test.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
