Job Description
Driver/Operator of pump truck Class A or Class B CDL manual transmission with tanker and airbrake endorsements. Pay based on experience.
Responsibilities and Duties
1. Provides septic and grease trap cleaning services for customers as well as minor septic repairs, maintenance and inspections.
2. Must maintain a clean personal appearance as well as represent All Clear Pumping and Sewer in an honest and professional manner at all times.
3. Keeps personal equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventative maintenance and calling for repairs.
4. Must be able to learn to accurately diagnose septic issues as well as follow through with repairs personally or relaying to the dispatcher to send out a service technician.
5. Willing to ride along with a senior technician for initial training as well as continued training.
6. Must be on time and dependable and respond during normal hours as well as when on-call.
7. Perform additional duties that may be assigned outside of your normal duties as needed.
8. Must be able to work with inspectors, suppliers and co-workers to get jobs completed in the best interest of our customers and abide by code.
9. Requires some digging and heavy lifting.
10. This position requires working indoors and outdoors in various climate conditions ranging from very hot and humid to very cold. This includes crawl spaces and confined locations. Must be capable of bending, reaching, crouching, climbing, crawling and digging.
11. Must have reliable transportation, a great work ethic, be drama free and safety minded.
Qualifications and Skills
Prefer candidate to be mechanical, able to work electronics, troubleshoot, analyze information, build customer relationships, maintain equipment, possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written; be results driven and take pride in your work as well as able to work independently or within a team, safety and production minded. Requires a clean driving record and a valid Class A or Class B CDL with Tanker and Airbrake Endorsements. Must be able to pass continued drug testing.
