Job Description
Directs and coordinates activities of production department(s) in processing materials and manufacturing products within their area by performing the following duties:
- Develops weekly schedules to meet or achieve the current SQDIPP goals (safety, quality, delivery, inventory, productivity, profitability)
- Demonstrate and continuously flow down JWFI’s vision and mission
- Remain cognizant that the company’s highest priority is our employees by promoting and exemplifying behaviors that are indicative of our goal to remain the Employer of Choice
Essential Duties
Essential Duties: include the following, other duties may be assigned:
- Prepares operation schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure SQDIPP goals are met.
- Develops plans for cost and process improvements, modifies production programs to maintain and enhance a profitable operation.
- Assumes responsibility for shop organization by ensuring everything has a location and is clean.
- Increases communication and feedback from all employees in their area and keeps all management boards updated weekly.
- Upholds the company’s policies and procedures such as; safety, attendance, productivity, start and stop times
Education Level
Associates degree in related field preferred
Experience
Minimum of four (4) years of related experience.
Formal Leadership training is required.

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to have the ability to concentrate and perform responsibilities by maintaining a constant state of focus and mental alertness. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands (including gripping & grasping) and reach with arms. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk or hear. The employee will frequently walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/ or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision requirements such as color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment
The employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
