Job Responsibilities

• Lead the team’s Intellectual Property investing efforts, including sourcing opportunities, proposing structures and pricing, and evaluating and underwriting investment opportunities
• Conduct legal research, analysis, and diligence related to investment opportunities
• Prepare investment models, memoranda, and supporting materials
• Monitor and evaluate portfolio investments
• Partner with U.S. team members to assess potential transactions and support investment execution
• Collaborate with co-funders, outside counsel, brokers, and IP professionals across active matters
• Contribute to strategic investment decisions involving patent litigation and broader litigation-related opportunities

Job Requirements

• J.D. required
• 2 years of relevant intellectual property litigation experience, including exposure to patent litigation
• Demonstrated record of strong academic and professional achievement
• Exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, and strong project management skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across lawyers, brokers, co-funders, and internal business units
• Commercially minded with an interest in working in an investment-oriented environment
• Experience with litigation finance, either at a law firm or litigation funding platform, is a plus
