Position Overview:
Works within a small collaborative team to ensure efficient customer delivery that includes identification, fulfillment, and management of capacity, billing/invoicing and settlement activity, and carrier/customer relations. The goal is to improve transportation and logistics operations, while increasing efficiency and reducing costs.
Responsible for delivery capacity recruitment, onboarding/contracting, and the accurate and timely processing of rating and settlements of all orders. Research and addresses issues that arise within the life-cycle of any order, which may include contacting delivery partners, communicating with department managers, and or customers.
Responsibilities:
Customer/Carrier Support
● Develop and maintain an understanding of customer specific service delivery and financial information, to facilitate successful negotiation of driver settlement during the delivery capacity contracting process. Demonstrates clear understanding of order processing systems.
● Effectively handles high volume of inbound and outbound calls.
● Builds and maintains a positive business relationship with internal/external customers.
● Research customer and departmental inquiries as well as billing/payment discrepancies.
● Ensures all the coding of bills and invoices is completed properly.
● Research problem invoices, interface with vendors, and other appropriate staff to reconcile.
● Ensures correct expense coding has occurred.
● Maintaining processes and providing structure to ensure capacity of carriers does not decrease.
● Consistent and excellent communication with customers and across departments to accurately troubleshoot and find solutions.
● Identifies and communicates opportunities for process improvements.
● Builds and manages relationships to ensure quick resolution on customer billing
● Maintains files and documents thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy
● Ensures timely, accurate preparation and distribution of customer invoices.
● Oversee accounts receivables to guarantee accurate and efficient payments
● Manage territory and book of business to support growth and maintain customer needs
● Identify areas of improvement and support implementation of efficient and affective processes
Supervision
● Trains and develops team members to ensure accurate and timely processing of assigned duties.
● Communicates priorities and results in accordance with standards dictated by department metrics.
Team
● Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of the team
● Works within the team to ensure timely and accurate completion of segments of the order processing.
● Performs other incidental and related duties as required.

Education / Licensing Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. Major in Business Science, Logistics, and/or Supply Chain Management
Experience Requirements:
College degree or 3 industry experience.

Salary : $60,000
