Senior Logistics Analyst

Role Summary

The Senior Logistics Analyst is responsible for supporting the performance, optimization, and scalability of logistics and transportation operations. This role analyzes operational data, identifies efficiency opportunities, and supports strategic initiatives across transportation, warehousing, and distribution networks. The Senior Logistics Analyst partners closely with operations leadership, finance, and technology teams to improve service levels, reduce costs, and enhance overall supply chain performance.

Primary Responsibilities

· Analyze transportation, warehouse, and distribution performance to identify operational trends and improvement opportunities

· Develop and maintain logistics performance dashboards, reports, and KPIs

· Conduct freight cost analysis, carrier performance evaluations, and operational benchmarking

· Support transportation routing optimization and network planning initiatives

· Partner with operations, finance, and procurement teams to improve logistics performance and cost efficiency

· Identify opportunities for automation, system enhancements, and process standardization

· Assist in the implementation and optimization of TMS, WMS, and other logistics technologies

· Support strategic logistics initiatives including capacity planning, forecasting, and network optimization

· Prepare reports and operational insights for leadership to support decision-making

· Leverage artificial intelligence and advanced analytics tools, where appropriate, to identify operational efficiencies, automate reporting, and enhance data-driven decision-making across logistics and transportation functions.

Experience & Skills

· 5–7 years of experience in logistics, supply chain analytics, transportation management, or operations analysis

· Experience working with transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), or ERP platforms

· Strong data analysis capabilities with experience interpreting large operational data sets

· Advanced Microsoft Excel experience (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)

· Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting platforms

· Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills

· Ability to communicate operational insights clearly to leadership and cross-functional teams

Working Conditions

· In office four days of the week, as well attendance at meetings requested by customer

· May require coordination with operations teams across multiple locations

· Requires normal vision (corrected) both close and distant

· Requires normal hearing levels (corrected)

· Uses office equipment and systems effectively

· Requires normal finger dexterity for keyboarding and data analysis

· Works effectively with frequent interruptions and shifting priorities

· Minimal travel <15%

· Both verbal and written communication with internal teams, vendors, and operational leadership

Salary : $80,000 - $105,000
