JW Industries LLC is a small metal fab shop in Green Bay specializing in athletic facility products and other various custom fabrication projects. We are currently seeking an experienced, first shift aluminum welder/fabricator to join our growing company.
Qualifications:
A Welder/Fabricator for JW Industries LLC will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints and customer specifications to perform MIG, TIG and stick welding. They will also be responsible for fabrication operations to precise tolerances; position and align parts using fixtures, jigs and templates which includes working with heavy equipment and tools in an industrial environment.
Job Duties:
Weld Components per job specifications.
Read and follow instructions of fabrication prints used to construct multiple components.
Overhead crane operation required.
Forklift operation required.
Ability to properly sequence and accurately assemble parts.
Set up components for welding according to specifications.
Operate grinders, drills and other power hand tools to prepare parts for welding.
Complete finishing operations including grinding, polishing, sanding or deburring.
Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure for flaws or defects.
Maintain all power and hand tool equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
Safety riggings skills to operate all chains and slings for heavy material lifting.
Practice good safety, housekeeping and organizational habits.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
Must be able to bend, squat and kneel frequently.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to safely handle all power tools for extended periods of time.
Must exhibit the ability and desire to maintain clean work environment.
40 hours per week required with customer demand.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
