Truck Driver / Heavy Equipment Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver / Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience operating heavy equipment and driving commercial vehicles on active construction sites and takes pride in quality workmanship. This role is essential to the successful, efficient, and safe completion of site work projects.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for obtaining, transporting and delivering materials, equipment, and tools to and from job sites
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, and loaders
- Operate hand tools as necessary to complete assigned tasks
- Maintain a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL), adhere to all safety regulations, and company policies
- Ensure the safe and efficient use of equipment on job sites
- Ability to perform maintenance on trucks and equipment
Requirements
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- CDL Class A License
- Ability to perform physically demanding work as necessary to complete tasks
- 1-2 years relevant experience preferred
- Perform high quality work consistently and the ability to work without supervision
Additional Skills a Plus
- Massachusetts 1C/2A Hoisting License or willingness to obtain
