With the recent expansion into our new state-of-the-art facility, JW Bell continues to grow rapidly into new markets, including equipment rebuilds, custom manufacturing, machining, blasting, painting, and full-service support. We are looking for motivated individuals who want to grow with us and become a key part of our success.
We are currently hiring a full-time Fabricator. We provide uniforms and offer competitive wages along with a strong benefits package. Paid holidays begin immediately, and vacation starts accruing after 30 days, with 15 paid days in your first full year.
We are looking for reliable, hard-working individuals who are comfortable working 40–50 hours per week and can take ownership of their work. Because every project is custom-built, you must be confident reading blueprints, laying out jobs independently, and adapting to new challenges.
Required Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints and fabrication drawings
- Strong understanding of weld symbols and fabrication standards
- Proficient in shop math and layout work
- Experience setting up and operating welding equipment (MIG, Stick, Flux-Core preferred)
- Ability to maintain proper weld variables on heavy-gauge and wear-resistant materials
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify fabrication or fit-up issues and implement solutions
- Experience working with heavy equipment, structural steel, or aggregate equipment preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand on concrete for extended periods
- Frequent bending, twisting, lifting, and working with heavy materials
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, industrial shop environment
