CNC Nesting Engineer Technician

We are looking for a motivated Engineer Technician to create programs for our CNC equipment. The right person will have the ability to work with a team of engineers, sales staff and clients about current and future projects. Eligible candidates must have 2 years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment and a desire to be part of a growing team. The ability to communicate with personalities of all types is essential in this position.

Skills & responsibilities needed for this position are:

• Associates degree in drafting or equivalent experience required
• Knowledge of CNC machine centers, CNC burn table (Pronest is a plus), CNC brake press, beam line, and water jet
• Ability to create nest for burn table and beam line
• Solidworks drafting experience or equivalent
• ERP/MRP software – Global Shop is a plus
• Structural and plate steel fabrication knowledge
• Continuous improvement for manufacturing processes
• Creating Bill of Material and Routers in Global Shop
• Work with production, sales, service and purchasing departments on a first-hand basis

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
