What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Business System Analyst position at JVT Advisors?
With rapid growth across multiple facilities, we are looking for a hands-on, operationally experienced Sr. Business Systems Analyst to play a key role in how our business runs — from the shop floor to the systems that power it.
We're looking for someone who has lived in manufacturing operations, knows what it takes to get product out the door, and has the systems savvy to translate that experience into ERP best practices that actually work for the people using them.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the internal subject matter expert for manufacturing operations processes within the ERP system
- Analyze existing operational workflows across production, inventory control, purchasing, planning, shipping/receiving, and material storage — identify gaps, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement
- Define, configure, test, and deploy ERP solutions and best practices across manufacturing functions including MES, labeling, and other production tools
- Partner with operations teams and cross-functional stakeholders to understand their needs and build solutions that stick
- Lead and support testing and training phases of ERP implementations, enhancements, and upgrades
- Develop and maintain clear documentation of processes, procedures, and system configurations
- Propose and drive improvements to existing reports and dashboards
- Apply LEAN principles to production activities in support of demand-driven operations
- Stay current on industry best practices and emerging technologies in manufacturing systems
What You Bring
- 7 years of hands-on manufacturing experience — you've worked in the environment, not just analyzed it from the outside
- 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role within manufacturing, operations, or inventory control
- Real working knowledge of lean tools — 5S, visual factory, value stream mapping, line balancing, production smoothing
- Experience operating in an FDA/GMP or ISO 13485 regulated manufacturing environment
- ERP system experience required — you've used it as part of your daily operations work, not just implemented it
- Strong project management instincts — able to juggle competing priorities, manage risk, and keep multiple workstreams moving
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across the shop floor, operations teams, and senior leadership
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to dig into complex data and find root causes
Salary : $80,000 - $110,000
