JVT has been matching talent with top companies in life sciences and technology for over 25 years. We’re looking for driven, high-energy, early-career and entry-level professionals to join our team.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this phone-based inside sales role, your main job is to find, connect with, and place life sciences and tech pros into contract roles with our clients. We’ll train you on everything!
- Find & Connect: Use modern recruiting tools, job databases, phone calls, texts, emails, and social networks to track down great candidates.
- Pitch & Screen: Pick up the phone to learn what candidates want, match their skills to our open jobs, and pitch contract opportunities.
- Guide & Close: Walk candidates through client interviews, help negotiate pay rates, write up thorough screening notes, and handle onboarding.
- Collaborate: Work side by side with senior Recruiters and Account Managers while you learn and focus 100% on the candidate side of the business.
- Earn Extra: Take home uncapped commissions and bonuses based on candidate placements.
Who You Are
- Money-Motivated & Driven: You want a job where your hard work directly determines your paycheck.
- Great on the Phone: You’re comfortable making cold calls, talking to new people, and building rapport quickly (a sense of humor helps!).
- Coachable & Curious: You like learning, adapt quickly when priorities change, and welcome 1-on-1 feedback.
- Resilient: You have grit, handle rejection well, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Background: 0–2 years of experience in customer service, sales, phone roles, hospitality, or campus leadership (Recent grads are strongly encouraged to apply!).
- Education: Your attitude and aptitude matter most. Early career professional preferred.
