Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting, assembling, and installing custom cabinets and furniture pieces with precision and craftsmanship. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately produce cabinetry and fixtures.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install cabinets using hand tools, power tools, and CNC machinery as needed.
- Fabricate custom components with attention to detail, ensuring they meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Install cabinets, doors, fixtures, siding, molding, and other woodworking elements on-site or in manufacturing settings.
- Perform finishing tasks such as caulking, sanding, staining, painting, or sealing to achieve a polished look.
- Conduct heavy lifting and maneuver large or bulky materials safely during fabrication and installation processes.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
- Extensive experience with woodworking techniques including framing carpentry, trim carpentry, and metal stud framing.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to cabinetry and construction projects.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools (saws, chisels, hammers), power tools (drills, sanders), CNC machines, and fabrication equipment.
- Knowledge of construction estimating, remodeling processes, flooring installation, tile laying, roofing, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, and restoration industry standards.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining precision during assembly or installation tasks.
- Familiarity with construction site experience including drywall finishing (plastering), rebar installation, concrete forming, stucco application, siding installation, water damage restoration techniques.
- Strong understanding of schematics for fixture installation or metal framing; experience with mold remediation or water damage restoration is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly on-site or in manufacturing environments; handyman experience is advantageous.
