JV Stone Design is a 4th Generation Family Owned & Operated Tile & Stone Artisans, Fabricators and Installers. Serving the Hamptons, NYC and Long Island. Crafting Marble & Granite Into Functional and Artistic Interior Design.
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/Office Manager proficient in Quickbooks Online to assist with our bookkeeping, purchasing and filing. You will be a direct liason between managements and our external accounting team.
Bookkeeper/Office Manager
1. Monthly Reconciliation of Bank Statements
2. Enter Credit Card Charges and Pay statements in a timely manner.
3. Open and address all mail delivered by the USPS.
4. Review accounts payable invoices, review with Manager and process payments.
5. Prepare weekly financial reports for Management. (Accounts Receivable, Balance Sheets and other requests by JV Stone Design)
6. Process Company payroll; including payment of taxes and quarterly returns; Once established with a payroll service, liaise with that agency on all payroll-related matters.
7. Liaise with accountants on annual income tax return preparation.
8. Develop and Maintain job costing system for JV Stone Design.
9. Generate 1099s/1096 and W-2s/W-3.
10. Ensure that all required personnel forms are completed and up to date.
- W-4, IT-2104, I-0 for payroll employees
- W-9 for 1099 employees and Workers' COmpensation covereage when necessary.
11. Create, label, organize, and maintain all business (insurance, bank, accounts payable/recievable, etc.) files.
12. Ensure that all insurance policies are kept current.
