JustinBradley’s client is a growing construction and engineering firm based in Northern Virginia. They are seeking a Director of Accounting to serve as a key link between accounting operations and financial reporting and the CFO in a high performing environment.
The Director of Accounting will be a leader of leaders and mentor a high performing team. The Director of Accounting will have a solid foundation in technical accounting and compliance to support this subsidiary of a large multinational corporation, while enjoying the energy and adaptability of a fast-growing company.
Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
- Provide oversight of month, quarter and year-end
- Support external financial reporting requirements including 10K, 10Q and other disclosures
- Perform variance and budget analysis across multiple divisions
- Prepare internal managerial reports
- Oversee AP and payroll operations and team, including providing appropriate approvals
- Manage compliance functions including audits, corporate risk management
- Manage and mentor team members
- Experience leading accounting teams
- CPA or MBA required
- Experience in public accounting, specifically in audit
Salary : $130,000 - $190,000
