What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Program Advisor position at Justice Management Division, Security and Emergency Planning Staff?
The incumbent is primarily responsible for serving as the Financial Program Advisor and reports directly to Senior Executive Service, Director and Deputy Director on all aspects of financial management, accounting, administrative and budgetary matters. The incumbent plans, directs, and coordinates all financial management activities for SEPS. This function includes making executive judgment decisions in planning, organizing, and directing the SEPS integrated financial management program.
Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as analyzing, planning and/or coordinating all phases of budgeting needs; identifying budget funding limitations and/or approving or disapproving of budgetary items.
