POSITION
Junior / Level 1 Helpdesk Technician
Location: Burleson, TX (Not Remote)
Hours: Full Time, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm
Compensation: $15–$22 /hr Benefits
OVERVIEW

As a Level 1 Helpdesk Technician, you’ll be the first friendly voice our clients hear when they need help. You’ll troubleshoot issues, document solutions, and keep communication flowing — all while working with a team that values excellence and integrity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service
- Serve as the first point of contact via phone, email, or ticket
- Deliver friendly, fast, and helpful support
- Provide basic remote troubleshooting
Ticketing & Documentation
- Manage all tickets in our helpdesk system
- Maintain up-to-date client documentation
- Ensure tickets remain active and properly categorized
Monitoring & Projects
- Review monitoring dashboards and apply remediation steps
- Occasionally assist with project delivery (on-site or remote)
Communication & Reporting
- Escalate issues when needed
- Keep clients informed throughout the resolution process
- Submit timesheets and communicate potential risks
Teamwork & Process
- Follow daily and weekly SOPs
- Stay alert for security issues
- Contribute ideas for improvement and innovation
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
Required / Desired
- A love for solving problems and helping people
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Understanding of IT systems, networks, and operating systems
- Ability to type quickly while speaking with clients
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users
Nice to Have
- Experience with ticketing or RMM tools
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365
- IT certifications (A , Network , Security )
- Experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP)
