Duties and Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and organize legal documents, including contracts, agreements, corporate filings, and correspondence.
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings on various regulatory, compliance, and corporate governance issues.
- Assist with the preparation and management of litigation materials, discovery responses, and filings.
- Maintain and organize legal files, databases, and contract management systems to ensure timely retrieval and document accuracy.
- Support the legal team with compliance tracking, regulatory reporting, and monitoring of deadlines.
- Coordinate with external counsel on ongoing legal matters, ensuring timely communication and document flow.
- Assist in corporate governance tasks, including maintaining corporate records, board meeting materials, and entity filings.
- Monitor changes in relevant legislation and regulatory requirements and provide updates to the legal team.
- Provide administrative support to the legal department, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing legal billing or invoices.

Education and Experience
- Associate’s degree or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-accredited program required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in a corporate or in-house legal environment.
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology, legal documentation, and corporate law procedures.
- Proficiency with legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and document management systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with multi-state regulatory environments or complex corporate structures.
- Previous involvement with mergers, acquisitions, or other corporate transactions.
