What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trade Trainee / Handyman Helper position at Just Trucks International LLC?
We are looking for a dependable, hands-on person who wants to learn a trade while helping with general handyman work, property upkeep, and daily shop tasks.
This position offers the opportunity to learn truck maintenance and repair skills while working alongside experienced staff. You do not need to be an experienced mechanic, but you must be willing to learn, follow instructions, and take pride in your work. Both shop assistance and handyman duties are regular parts of this role.
What you’ll do:
- Assist with truck maintenance and repairs under supervision.
- Handle general handyman tasks such as painting, minor repairs, assembly, yard upkeep and basic maintenance
- Help maintain the shop, yard, and properties.
- Organize tools, equipment, parts, and supplies.
- Keep work areas clean and safe.
- Follow instructions and ask questions when you need guidance.

- Ability to get to work consistently.
Experience in handyman work, construction, landscaping, maintenance, or automotive repair is helpful, but previous trade experience is not required. Basic familiarity with hand tools is a plus.
