Overview
Job Description: This position performs physical, hands-on tasks in shop, including pressure washing, loading/unloading, cleaning, assembling/disassembling pumps and tools, operating forklifts, and any other tasks associated with maintenance and repair of downhole pumps or shop needs.
Role and Responsibilities
· Pick up & delivery of pumps and well-site equipment
· Stocking & Receiving supplies as needed
· General Administrative and Shop duties: stock orders; computer use; answering phones; general housekeeping of office and shop
· Lead by example by adhering to company policies and safety protocols
· Cleaning & Preparation: Pressure wash, degrease, and clean returned downhole tools and equipment
· Material Handling: Load/unload, move equipment, and stack supplies
· Assembly & Disassembly: Assist in taking apart, cleaning, repairing pump components and tools
· Product knowledge: Maintain knowledge of the company's product lines and stay informed about competitor offerings and general industry trends.
· Shop Maintenance: Keep the shop, yard, and tools organized, clean, and safe
· Collaboration: with operations, shop, field personnel to ensure seamless customer service
· Report any concerns to supervisor immediately
· Physically demanding, involving heavy lifting
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Valid DL; Must be insurable to drive company vehicles
Preferred Skills
Experience 2-5 years in oilfield and downhole pump repair and maintenance; Ability to troubleshoot and explain technical issues; Problem solving skills; Team player who follows directions and contributes to group success; Dependable, self-motivated, and adaptable
Pay: $ $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
