Job Summary
This position serves as the primary point of contact for clients in the oil and gas industry regarding downhole pump services and products and is responsible for driving revenue through new business development and by maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with existing customers. This position may also provide supervisory duties to shop hands associated with sales location.
Duties:
· Client Relationship Management: Build, maintain, and grow strong customer relationships
· Technical Consultation & Support: Serve as a technical expert, identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate downhole pump solutions.
· Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue, negotiate contracts, and close deals with clients.
· Adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures and Safety Protocols
· Product knowledge: Maintain knowledge of the company's product lines and stay informed about competitor offerings and general industry trends.
· Documentation & Reporting: Accurately document all customer interactions, sales activities, and quotes using applicable software systems.
· Collaboration: with operations, shop, field personnel to ensure seamless customer service
· Complete scheduled customer contacts; visit field sites to follow up on jobs
· Customer interface and retention on behalf of business
· Handling administrative duties for the sales department or team, including data entry and compiling product costs and comparisons
· Report any concerns to supervisor immediately
· Must be able to lift 50lbs
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Valid DL; Must be insurable to drive company vehicles
Preferred Skills
Experience 2-5 years in oilfield sales; Strong interpersonal and communication skills; Ability to troubleshoot and explain technical issues; Problem solving skills; Team player who follows directions and contributes to group success; Dependable, self-motivated, and adaptable
Pay: $50, $75,000.00 per year
