Catering Sales Manager

The Catering Sales Manager drives catering revenue growth across every Just Salad market. You will own the catering sales plan, win new customers and grow existing accounts, bring customer insight back to the business, and use testing and AI to sell smarter as we open new restaurants. In line with Just Salad’s mission to make everyday health and sustainability possible, you will also support initiatives to reduce Just Salad’s environmental footprint.

Type: Full-time, exempt

Pay: $70,000–$200,000 (includes base salary commission)

What you'll do

Own the catering sales plan and track performance

• Execute the annual catering sales plan, with revenue goals by market, restaurant, and customer segment, and translate it into quarterly priorities.
• Identify the customers, segments, and markets with the greatest growth potential, and focus your time where it delivers the strongest results.
• Maintain your pipeline and sales forecast in the CRM, and use Finance's catering reporting to track revenue, new and repeat customers, order frequency, and average order value to identify opportunities and take action.
• Develop catering launch plans for new restaurants, including pre-opening outreach and a pipeline of prospective customers.

Win new customers and grow existing relationships

• Run the full sales process: prospecting, outreach, tastings, proposals, follow-up, and closing.
• Build relationships with office managers, executive assistants, workplace teams, event planners, schools, and institutions.
• Turn first orders into recurring business and expand relationships across offices, departments, and locations.
• Maintain a disciplined pipeline and CRM, with regular account planning for key customers.

Bring the customer's voice to the business

• Share customer feedback and ideas with Technology to improve the catering inquiry, ordering, and reordering experience.
• Give input to Culinary, Marketing, and Finance on catering packages, bundles, pricing, and sales materials based on what customers ask for.
• Sell within approved pricing and discount guidelines, using discounts mainly to secure repeat or recurring business.
• Work with Operations so customer commitments match restaurant capabilities, and flag fulfillment issues quickly to protect key accounts.

Test new strategies and use AI to sell smarter

• Test new approaches to prospecting, customer acquisition, and account growth, including campaigns, sampling, referrals, and offers with Marketing.
• Use AI tools to speed up prospect research, prioritize leads, personalize outreach, and reduce administrative work.
• Measure each test's impact on sales and profitability, and turn what works into repeatable tools and playbooks.

What you bring

Required

• 4 to 6 years in B2B, catering, or corporate food sales, with at least 2 years in a restaurant, food, or hospitality brand.
• A track record of hitting or beating catering or B2B sales targets, with numbers you can walk us through.
• Full-cycle selling experience, from prospecting through closing and account growth.
• Disciplined CRM use and pipeline management.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills: comfortable forecasting, tracking performance, and presenting results to leadership.
• Ability to work across Operations, Culinary, Finance, Marketing, and Technology teams.
• A test-and-learn mindset, with hands-on curiosity about using AI and sales technology to work smarter.
• Ability to travel regularly to our markets.

Preferred

• Fast-casual or multi-unit restaurant catering sales experience.
• Experience supporting new restaurant or market openings through pre-opening sales outreach.
• Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, or comparable CRM, and with catering ordering platforms such as ezCater or Olo.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or equivalent experience.

• New York Pay Range $70,000 - 100,000 USD. The provided salary range is base salary, exclusive of bonus potential or commission, and is a good faith estimate of cash compensation.
