Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and educational environment for young children, fostering their development through engaging activities and individualized care. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and growth.
- Provide high-quality infant care, ensuring the physical and emotional needs of children are met.
- Facilitate activities that encourage social interaction, creativity, and cognitive skills.
- Manage behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement techniques to guide children’s actions.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss children's progress and address any concerns.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual requirements.
- Document children's progress and maintain accurate records of their development.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices.
Qualifications
- Experience in childcare or preschool settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of infant care practices and behavior management strategies.
- Familiarity with special education principles and experience working with students with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
- Ability to create a positive learning environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
- A nurturing demeanor with a passion for educating young children.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.
- Relevant educational background in Early Childhood Education or related fields is advantageous.

Pay: $9.45 - $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
