Job Title: Electrician Helper
Type of Assignment: Permanent
Position Type: Full Time - 40 Hours
Hours of Work: (Monday-Friday), 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
Location: Various Field Locations (As Assigned)
Salary: $13.50 per hour

Primary Responsibilities
- Repairs, installs, replaces and tests electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances.
- Uses hand tools and testing instruments.
- Inspects and tests electrical equipment, lighting, signal, communication, and power circuits.
- Replaces faulty switches, sockets, and other elements of electrical systems.
- Mounts motors, transformers and lighting fixtures into position and completes circuits according to diagram specifications.
- Able to install electrical conduit and wires. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Inspects completed work for conformance with requirements of local building and safety codes.
- Requisitions new electrical supplies and equipment.
- Drive electrical equipment from site to site
- Able to read a ruler and count money
- Able to clean and follow directions
- Able to complete assigned tasks independently
- Prompt and non-confrontational
- Excellent hygiene
- Valid driver’s license
- 18 years of age
- Hand tools
- Able to lift at least fifty pounds
- Current tax i.d. or social security number and proof of employability
- High school diploma or GED
